LuMin is You
LuMin is all about community. Our leadership team is here to make sure that community runs smoothly, but LuMin’s leaders are no more a part of that community than any one else. We would LOVE to have you contribute your amazing skills, talents, or time to LuMin at Yale. If you feel called to serve the LuMin community, then by all means, welcome!
LuMin’s mission is clear: You are amazing, beautiful, special, and loved, just as you are. We will never deny anyone a role in LuMin for being a member of the LGBTQIA+ community or for any nature of their identity.
Naomi Tracy-Hegg
(she/her/hers)
Naomi Tracy-Hegg is a sophomore in Berkeley College studying Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. She’s your average Minnesota Lutheran organist: in confirmation, she was taught that the five apostles were Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, and Bach. When not at Taizé prayer with LuMin, she can be found canoeing, birdwatching, or speaking Italian (all three have happened at once).
Ethan Reynolds

Ethan is a junior in Trumbull College majoring in electrical engineering and environmental engineering, particularly interested in environmental justice and sustainable infrastructure. Ethan graduated from Sound School, having focused on ocean engineering and aquaculture and having been deeply involved in underwater robotics, community service, sailing, and environmental stewardship. Outside of class, Ethan coaches debate with New Haven Urban Debate League, volunteers at the Downtown Evening Soup Kitchen, works on random electronics projects, and does a bit of farming. Ethan joined LuMin in his first year and has deeply valued being part of such a welcoming community. Rev. Kari Henkelmann Keyl

Kari Henkelmann Keyl is the Pastor for LuMin at Yale, and she is particularly passionate about racial and environmental justice and the all-encompassing grace of God. Pastor Kari is married to Pastor Tim Keyl, who serves both Bethesda Lutheran Church and Yale Divinity School. They have two adult children, Gabu and Bethany, and love them so much! When not on campus engaging with the Yale community, Kari can be found in her kitchen experimenting with the tastes and textures of delicious healthy foods… or looking for a ping pong table and someone with whom to play!
Jack Clawson

Jack is a sophomore in Grace Hopper College majoring in Ethics, Politics, and Economics, with particular interests in political economy and public policy. He grew up in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where he rarely missed a Colorado Avalanche game. On campus, Jack co-leads Yale Students for Abundance, is involved with the Yale Daily News, and counsels for Camp Kesem. He joined LuMin in his first year and has loved being engaged with such a great community.
Amaya Dressler

Amaya is a second-year M.Div candidate at Yale Divinity School and is serving this year on the LuMin leadership team. She graduated in 2025 from Princeton University where she studied Medical Anthropology and spent many nights enjoying Taizé prayer after a long day of work. Outside of LuMin, you can find her studying in the Divinity School library, volunteering at the hospital, or strolling through East Rock Park.
Jonathan Weiss
(he/him/his, they/them/theirs)
Jonathan is LuMin's lead musician and administrative assistant. He graduated in 2024 from Yale College, where he majored in Music and served as a First-Year Counselor. Jonathan teaches music lessons in New Haven and Monroe, works as a home health support staff, attends Bethesda Lutheran Church, and is composing an original opera. He feels anchored every week by this space of reflection, healing, and joy.
